My "artists who blog" interview series will be celebrating a one year anniversary at the end of this week! Can you believe it? My goal was to post one interview per week, and while I haven't fulfilled that goal 100%, I did manage 42 interviews in 52 weeks so far. Hopefully you will forgive me, and remember that I have two very demanding little girlies at home who continually spin through my apartment like mini tornadoes.
This week is special because I will be posting a new interview each DAY, and I have a wonderful line up of artists including Sofia Barao, Brandi Strickland, Alessandra de Souza, Dolan Geiman, and Vivienne Strauss. Yay! So stay tuned.
To kick off my celebration week, today's interview is with Marisa Haedike of Creative Thursday. Marisa is an artist from Los Angeles, who is brilliant in using her blog, Twitter, and her podcasts to get the word out about her artwork and creative process. She has a big upcoming solo show at Black Maria (congratulations Marisa!) and so many projects going on I can't even begin to list them all. For an overview, see her website. To find out how and why she started her blog, read her interview here.
