Hi there! I hope you are having a happy holiday season! We've been quite busy behind the scenes (aren't we all!) - and today I wanted to pop in and give you an update of what we've been up to here in Berlin...
We've been making and writing postcards
baking apple cranberry cakes
and enjoying our treats with afternoon tea.
We've noticed the pretty lights at the Christmas markets here in Berlin
gone window shopping for candles and advent wreaths
admired glowing paper lamps
and funky vintage decorations with mistletoe.
where she tempted us with delightful yummy food
in a warm, beautiful atmosphere. Thank you Annton for your hospitality!
I've been amazed and overjoyed by the artful cards and letters arriving from my talented e-course participants around the world
featuring hand drawn and sewn elements
words of wisdom, kindness + more. Thank you sweeties! xo
One creative course participant sent a lovely, minimalist handmade advent calendar to enjoy all month long
- complete with visual hanging instructions, wow!
More beautiful surprises from this talented group of ladies have been arriving in my mailbox
including this gorgeous handmade scarf. Thank you! xo
I feel very touched and very blessed and grateful, and I appreciate so very much your encouragement and support.
In my thoughts, I'm sending you ALL big warm hugs from Berlin for your email, cards, photos, gifts, kind thoughts, and for taking part in this international creative community that we are building together.
I wish you my very best as we join together to celebrate this holiday season and the remaining days of 2013. For me, this year has been full of challenges, but it has also been a year filled with beauty and joy as well.
I'm looking forward to the beginning of 2014 with a fresh start and much optimism, aren't you?
Every day I'm getting more excited about our new e-course - Creative Courageous Year : Celebrate the Seasons - and I'm happily brainstorming many fresh plans and ideas for us to collaborate on in 2014.
We'll make, learn, and explore using natural materials and mixed media to add more creativity to all areas of our lives: including our personal and home surroundings, the food we prepare and eat, and how we spend our time each day.
You can learn more about our new rich, unique Creative Courageous Year project here.
Please know that you are appreciated and I'm sending you warm greetings and special holiday hugs from Berlin today!
