Artist Advent Calendar : Geninne Zlatkis from Mexico

Shopping Bird.jpg

I'm delighted to have a wonderful artist from Mexico - Geninne Zlatkis - joining us this Christmas Eve. Geninne writes one of my all time favorite artist blogs - and her beautiful photography, artwork, daily life, and words light up the lives of so many around the world! She'll also be sharing a unique, handmade downloadable gift with you today - enjoy and thank you Geninne! xoxo

There is nothing I love more than to make all of the gifts for family and friends by hand. There is something very special about giving something that has been made with love and thought with the recipient in mind.

In Christmas I go all out, I like to make everything down to the wrapping paper and decorations around the house.

Cutting out snowflakes is one of my favorite activities around Christmas, you can find a really good tutorial at this link: http://www.marthastewart.com/276331/how-to-make-paper-snowflakes/@center/1009041/christmas-crafts-projects

This year I designed several Holiday cards for Madison Park Greetings, Papyrus +  Galison. The shopping birdie was for Madison Park and the wreath was for Papyrus. It's funny because I usually design Christmas cards in during the summer and it is kind of hard to get into the spirit!

Here are some printable gift tags and place cards I designed for you :) Just print out the pdf file on card stock and cut out.
