A Week in Wild, Creative, Wonderful Berlin

stephanielevy_berlin

Hi there! It has been a wild, wonderful, creative week here in Berlin!

First of all, I was lucky enough to win a ticket to the re:publica digital media conference here in Berlin thanks to Fräulein Julia, yoohoo! It was a special opportunity to attend as several of my blogger friends were presenting at the conference.

I especially liked one of the mottos of the conference: "Nicht meckern. Besser machen." - "Don't complain. Do it better."

A real highlight of the conference was finally meeting Svenja of the Meine Svenja blog and Sue from happyich. These two lovely ladies from Munich and Stuttgart were extremely inspiring for me and like a breath of fresh air. We talked for hours and had such a great time together.

Svenja already posted lots of photos and news about what she saw in Berlin + our conversations on Meine Svenja here, and you can read Sue's post here too. I'm already looking forward to Svenja + Sue's next visit to Berlin!

It was super fun to meet up with my blogging friends here in Berlin as well of course! Stephanie of Stepanini, Indre of M i M A, and Nicola of schischi und heititei presented at re:publica about the context and influence of lifestyle blogs in our society, and it is always great to visit with Sabrina of small caps, Anna of blink blink, Marta, and Franziska too!

To top it all off, I had the chance to go out for Sunday brunch with my sweeties at Anna Blume to celebrate Mother's Day. I love the breakfast "étagère" at this cafe, so good.

Afterwards, we made Mother's Day collages at home...

for a creative + crafty Sunday afternoon :)

We also made several silly photos of me with my girls, which made them laugh and giggle so hard.

Lucy made me the red beaded necklace and Sophia made the butterfly mosaic as Mother's Day presents, which were adorable - but of course the best present of all is my sweet girls. I hope you also had a wild, creative, wonderful week with friends, family, yourself  - wherever you are!

Hugs from Berlin,

Stephanie
