It's been quite a week! We've had a visitor from New Zealand, the children have been home from preschool, my husband was at home too... with such a full house, Sophia has been the only one making new artwork around here. But what wonderful artwork she makes, or at least I think so! Here are several of my recent favorites...
Rosa and Marlene as Fairies and Sophia as a Good Witch
Table with Fruit and Flowers
Ernie, Elmo, and Bert from Sesame Street
Snow White and Rose Red with Fairies
Cowardly Lion, Toto, Tin Man, Dorothy, the Wicked Witch (and the Good Witch Glenda in the bubble)
Scarecrow, Dorothy, Tin Man, the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz
Yakari on a Horse and other Native Americans Celebrating
Rainbow Girl on a Horse with Yakari
Princess and Prince and the Night Sky
Three Princesses with a Sun
Pippi Longstocking, Annika, Tommy, and a Witch
Sheep in the Meadow
Girl with Yellow Brick Road
Ballerina with a Butterfly and a Mouse
Little Red Riding Hood Walking Through the Forest
Pretty amazing for a 4 year old isn't it?! Sophia draws before breakfast, between meals and games, all the time. She would rather draw than eat. We have to pry her away from her drawings to get her to the dining table at all. To be honest, I wouldn't mind having a bit of her creative energy right now myself!
We have more visitors coming in this weekend, so it looks like another busy, full week ahead. I was lucky enough to be invited by Alex to write for the always interesting Gypsy Girl's Guide, and you can read my guest post here. Alex will be having a baby girl of her own very soon, so be sure to go over and wish her good luck this month!
Have a wonderful weekend :)
